 Introducing Connie Bartlett

We have been training dogs here at Windsor Animal Hospital since 2002 – we call it “Canine Academy”.   We have focused on socialization training in the past, and it has been a huge success.
Over the past several years, with Connie as our trainer, we have adding obedience training to the socialization training class.  The result has been phenomenal!  Dogs and their owners are learning more and more.  They enjoy all the exercises and the option to go on to “Agility training” and/or “Rally training”.

Connie Bartlett is a professional dog trainer – that is all she does and she’s been doing it for over 22 years.  She is so good that her own dog “Benny” won the world-famous Westminster show four years ago.

Connie owns and operates Performance Paws Dog Sports.
She and her dogs have earned many titles over the years, including conformation champions, Best in Show and group wins, Westminster wins, earthdog titles through Master level, AKC retriever hunt test titles and Agility titles through Excellent level. She also trains and competes in Obedience & Rally with her dogs and students.
Connie is a licensed AKC judge, Canine Good Citizen evaluator for the American Kennel Club, and is a register tester for the American Temperament Testing Society (ATTS).

Connie’s training style customizes training plans to best suit each dog/handler team.

Owners love Connie’s training programs as she is fun, funny and incredibly informative.

Dogs love the training sessions as they quickly learn what behavior is wanted by their owners, they enjoy having a job to do and they enjoy the interaction with other dogs in the classes.

If your dog is bored, lacking in social skills with other dogs or people, or they are simply restless and looking for something to do, you should realize that dogs want to be busy, they want things to do, they want to do them with you and they want to please you.

Obedience class with Connie is just the ticket for you and your dog.

You will learn a lot and have a good time doing it.
Classes run for 6 weeks on Tuesday evenings.

For individual behavior training we still refer to Sapir Weiss at Olivet Kennels as we have done for many years, but for puppy classes, socialization training and entry obedience training we are fortunate to have Connie training with us.
